Hey, I’m Mel.

I provide a warm and safe mental health space for people living in the Pilbara

Why work with me

My passion is enabling clients to gain awareness, understanding and / or the tools to be able to move through life’s intricate problems.

It is important to me that clients feel seen, heard and understood.

I value treatment that is holistic, individualised and collaborative. As well as culturally appropriate, and inclusive.

I am a down-to-earth and nurturing Psychologist, who brings both an honest and compassionate approach to working with clients.

FAQ

  • There are three ways in which you can engage with me:

    1.    Self-Refer/ No Referral - This means you don’t require a referral from a GP. If you chose to engage in this way, you may be eligible for a rebate from your Private Health Insurer.

    2.    Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) – A MHCP can be obtained from a GP or Psychiatrist. Having a MHCP entitles you to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year, in which you receive a Medicare rebate for each of the sessions.

    3. NO COST services are currently provided to clients of Reach Us - Pilbara. Please see the Services tab for further information.

  • If the appointment time that you require isn't available please send me a text or email. From there I can put you on the waitlist for when that specific time becomes available.

  • Please note Melissa Knaggs Psychology is not a mental health emergency service, the practice is not open after-hours and, the mobile number and email is not monitored outside of business hours.
